Getting It Right

Love it ❤️ It’s perfect!
THANK YOU sooooooooooooo much!
— Michele, Recent Client

My desire with every commissioned pet portrait painting is to nail it. To get it right. I want each client to be ‘over the moon’ with their painting.

Most of the time, I nail it right out of the gate. Rarely, clients have minor adjustments that need to be made to uniquely capture their beloved furry family members. I discuss this a bit in the video below.

In these instances, I work at the easel until my client absolutely loves it. Recently, I was working on a pet portrait for a client on the Oregon coast. I sent her a photo of the painting and she had some very minor critiques. I kept working at it until she loved it. The above quote was an email I received from her after I went back in to rework the painting a couple times. She’s thrilled, and I am thrilled too.

This is why I do what I do. I want my clients to LOVE their pet portrait paintings. With that goal in mind, I work diligently on every pet portrait to get it right. All the hard work is worth the pay off of clients being so thrilled and in love with their painting of their fur baby. I want these paintings to be a cherished piece of art for a lifetime.
